Organic Shiitake Extract
Shiitake（Lentinula edodes) is a traditional Chinese dietary mushroom, with abundant nutrition and fresh taste. Shiitake contains polysaccharides,beta glucan and Lentinan, a protein-bound polysaccharide which is believed to be the key to modulate the body’s immune response by bounding to the surface receptor, Dectin-1 of the macrophage and regulate the release of cytokines and interleukin.
1.Prevention and treatment of tumors: Shiitake mushroom is rich in lentinan, which can effectively inhibit the deterioration of recurrent cancers. It has antiviral and anti-tumor effects, and has relatively few toxic and side effects. It is known as an immune booster for tumor patients.
